The Austin FC U-18, U-16, and U-15 teams will close out the 2024-2025 season at the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs beginning this Saturday, June 14, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Each team begins in the Round of 32 for its respective age group and needs to win five single elimination knockout matches in a row to be crowned champions.
The U-15s are in action first, taking on Weston FC at 10:30 a.m. CT on Saturday morning.
The U-16s then play against BW Gottschee in a match that will be livestreamed on the MLS YouTube channel at 8:15 p.m. CT Saturday night.
The U-18s are taking part in the U-19 age group at the tournament and join the party on Sunday evening when they face Indy Eleven at 8:15 p.m. CT.
The tournament finals for the U-15 and U-16 age groups take place respectively at 8:30 a.m. CT and 11:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, June 21. The U-19 tournament final is at 11:30 a.m. CT on Sunday, June 22.
All teams are guaranteed three matches at the event, meaning should any of Austin’s three teams lose in the Round of 32 or Round of 16, they would play showcase matches to round out their time in Tennessee.
