Austin FC II return to the Lone Star State to face rival team North Texas SC for the second matchup between the teams this season. The Verde & Black will go up against North Texas SC Saturday evening for a 7:45 p.m. CT kickoff. The match will be available to watch on Apple TV with MLS Season Pass.

Austin FC II’s rematch with North Texas SC will be the team’s sixth away match and 12th match overall of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.
The Verde & Black come off a loss to Colorado Rapids 2 whom they dominated in the season opener. ATXFC II showcased strong defensive efforts against Rapids 2 throughout the entire match despite Colorado gaining the lead in the second half, and the Verde & Black were unable to recover.
Austin FC II last faced North Texas SC at home where fans saw Peter Grogan give ATX the lead with his second goal of the season. The match went to penalties though as North Texas SC evened the score late in the second half and Austin walked away with one point.

Like Austin FC II, North Texas SC face a month mostly on the road, only hosting the Verde & Black for this week’s match. North Texas come off a loss to St. Louis City 2 in which they were unable to find the net, leaving the match empty-handed.
